Vessel function or patency following an anastomosis is critical to successful surgery. Transonic’s intraoperative flow measurements will tell a surgeon if a vessel is indeed patent. With the unsurpassed accuracy of gold standard transit-time ultrasound technology, Transonic’s Surgical Flow meters and Flow probes provide immediate, quantitative data to objectively assess the quality of an anastomosis during coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), vascular, transplant, cerebrovascular and microvascular surgeries.

Transonic measurement tools include intraoperative Flowprobes for surgeons, Monitors and Sensors tailored for hemodialysis and critical care, and specialty Sensors customized for original equipment manufacturers.

FlowXL Monitor :

The FlowXL® is a stand-alone, touch-screen flowmeter used during surgery with to measure, display, document & manage absolute volume flow and other derived parameters in vessels, grafts or ducts. The FlowXL can also measure flow in tubing circuits using compatible Transonic Tubing Flowsensors.

Transonic H-Series Intraoperative, Perivascular Flowprobes work with FlowXL Flowmeter to measure instantaneous and average volume flow in blood vessels or grafts, 0.5 mm to 36 mm in diameter. Perivascular Flowprobes measure blood flow in exposed vessels:

a) at the beginning of a procedure, for accurate assessment of volume flow.

b) at the conclusion of surgery prior to patient closing, on newly implanted natural or artificial bypass grafts, on vessels supplying restored, reconstructed or transplanted organs and tissues.
